When creating an AWS Marketplace Private Offer through Labra's HubSpot integration, you'll be asked to provide information about the buyer, contract terms, pricing, and other offer details.
The HubSpot Marketplace Mapping Manager allows you to map existing HubSpot properties to AWS Private Offer fields, automatically populating offer information and reducing manual data entry.
Field mapping is optional. Any information that isn't mapped can be entered manually when creating the Private Offer.
๐ How Do AWS Marketplace Private Offers Work?
AWS Marketplace Private Offers allow sellers to offer customers custom pricing, contract terms, and payment schedules negotiated directly with the buyer.
When creating a Private Offer, the seller specifies the buyer's 12-digit AWS Account ID, which determines the AWS account eligible to accept the offer.
Once the offer is published:
- The Private Offer becomes available to the designated buyer's AWS account.
- The seller can share the offer link with the buyer.
- An authorized user from the buyer's organization reviews the offer and accepts it through AWS Marketplace.
๐ Please note: The person responsible for accepting the Private Offer must have the appropriate AWS Marketplace permissions. We recommend including this person as a recipient when creating the offer so they receive the relevant offer information and can coordinate acceptance.
๐ก Recommended: Create an AWS Account ID Property in HubSpot
We strongly recommend creating a custom AWS Account ID property at the Company or Deal level in HubSpot.
This allows your team to store the buyer's AWS Account ID directly in your CRM and map it to the corresponding field in the Marketplace Mapping Manager.
Since the buyer's AWS Account ID is required to create and send a Private Offer, having this information readily available helps prevent errors and reduces manual entry.
Recommended configuration:
| Setting | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| Property Name | AWS Account ID |
| HubSpot Object | Company or Deal |
| Property Type | Number (compatible with the Mapping Manager) |
| Purpose | Store the buyer's 12-digit AWS Account ID |
๐ Please note: Always verify the AWS Account ID with your buyer before sending a Private Offer. An incorrect account ID may prevent the intended buyer from accessing the offer.
