Azure Marketplace onboarding is now fully available directly in the Labra platform.
Before moving into Cloud Settings, it’s important to ensure all prerequisites are completed. These steps are required to avoid setup issues later in the process (refer to the prerequisites guide here).
Once ready, you can connect your Microsoft cloud settings, complete the required configuration, and move forward with Azure Marketplace activity — all from a single, guided flow inside Labra.
This guide walks you through what you need to do and where to do it.
➡️ Step 1: Prerequisites
Before connecting your account, confirm that your Microsoft Partner Center setup is complete.
In Labra, you’ll be asked to verify that:
- You can access your Microsoft Partner Center account
- You’re enrolled in the Commercial Marketplace
- Your Organization Profile, Payout, and Tax profiles are completed
📒 Please note: These steps are required by Microsoft before any Marketplace activity can occur and are typically completed by a Partner Center Global Admin or Account Admin.

➡️ Step 2: Account Configuration
Next, configure how you transact in the Microsoft Marketplace.
Select account type
- Independent Software Vendor (ISV) – Sell your own software
- Channel Partner (CP) – Sell on behalf of an ISV
Most sellers will select ISV.
Select transaction currency
- Choose currencies that are already configured in Partner Center
- Payments will be processed and disbursed in the selected currency

📒 Please note: Microsoft currently only supports USD. See FAQs on more about currency conversion.

During setup, you’ll generate and paste the following values into Labra:
Tenant ID - Your Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) tenant’s unique identifier.
Client ID - The Application (client) ID created when you register an app in Azure AD. This identifies the app Labra uses to connect to Microsoft.
Client Secret - A secure key generated for the app registration. Labra uses this, along with the Client ID, to authenticate API access.
