Before we dive into onboarding with Labra, there are a few important prerequisites to complete. These steps set up your Microsoft Cloud Partner (MCP) account and ensure you’re ready to create and manage offers in the Azure Marketplace. Think of this as laying the foundation — once it’s done, the rest of the process will move smoothly.
Prerequisites
➡️ Step 1 - Set up your Partner Center Account
Partner Center is where you’ll manage your company’s relationship with Microsoft. access incentives, and publish offers to the Azure Marketplace.
Go to the Microsoft Partner Center and sign up with your work email.

Partner Center will give you access to manage users, billing, customer subscriptions, and your future Marketplace listings.

➡️ Step 2 - Join the Microsoft Cloud Partner Program (MCPP)
You’ll need to enroll your organization in the Microsoft Cloud Partner Program to participate in the Commercial Marketplace.
Use a work account tied to your company (not a personal email).
Be ready with your company’s legal business name, address, and primary contact.

Enrollment requires that you (or the person enrolling) have the authority to sign legal agreements on behalf of your company.

➡️ Step 3 - Complete Your Organization Profile
Microsoft requires verification of your organization before you can transact in the Marketplace.
Provide your company’s legal information in Partner Center.
If your company is registered with Dun & Bradstreet (DUNS), you can use your DUNS ID to look up your company details.
This step ensures your PartnerID and publisher information are tied to your company correctly.

➡️ Step 4 - Set Up Payout and Tax Profiles
To get paid for transactions on the Marketplace, you’ll need to complete your payout and tax information.
Add your company’s billing address, tax ID, and VAT ID (if applicable).
Choose your preferred currency for payments.

These details are required before any listings can go live.
