To manage your AWS Marketplace listing and activate Marketplace features such as offers, data feeds, POs, and ABOs, Labra requires secure, limited access to your AWS account.
This access is configured through an AWS CloudFormation template provided by Labra.
🚀 Learn more! Full permission stack details are available in the Labra Marketplace CloudFormation Stack documentation.
This step is part of your Labra Marketplace onboarding and may require support from your AWS Administrator.
Before starting, ensure that all AWS Marketplace Seller prerequisites have been completed.
📒 Before You Begin
You can review AWS Marketplace prerequisites at any time by clicking Check AWS Requirements in the top-right corner of the Labra Platform.
⚠️ Important: Cloud Settings configuration now includes Marketplace data feeds setup, which is required to complete onboarding.
➡️ Step 1 – Log in to Labra & Access Cloud Settings
Your AWS Administrator should:
- Log in to the AWS Console using the AWS account that will be used for your AWS Marketplace listing.
Fig. 1
- In a separate tab, log in to your Labra account.
- Complete your Company details, check the Labra Terms and Conditions box, and click Continue.
Fig. 2
You will then be redirected to the Cloud Settings page.
➡️ Step 2 – Add AWS Account Details
In Step 01 – AWS account details, complete the following fields:
-
AWS account ID - Enter your 12-digit AWS account ID.
- AWS account name - Enter the AWS account name associated with your Marketplace account. This is the account name displayed in the AWS Console next to your account ID.
⚠️ Important: The AWS account name entered here will automatically populate the Partner Organization Name field when creating the CloudFormation stack in AWS.
Some AWS accounts may have character limitations during stack creation. If the CloudFormation stack fails to create successfully, shorten the AWS account name and retry.
-
Country - Select the country configured as your Business Location in AWS Marketplace Management Portal (AMMP).
-
Marketplace Role - Choose the option that best describes your Marketplace business model:
-
Independent Software Vendor (ISV)
Your company sells software directly to customers or through channel partners. -
Channel Partner (CP)
Your company sells software on behalf of Independent Software Vendors.

-
Currency - Select the currency you intend to transact in through AWS Marketplace.

⚠️ Warning: The selected currency must already be configured in AWS Marketplace Management Portal (AMMP). Otherwise, Marketplace offers and authorizations using that currency may fail.
➡️ Step 3 – Select Your Marketplace Data Feed Setup
In Step 02 – Create stacks, you will be asked:
“Have you already set up Data Feeds in your own S3 bucket?”
AWS Marketplace Data Feeds are used to report Marketplace activity related to:
- Contracts
- Revenue
- Disbursements
These feeds allow Labra to display Marketplace reporting and revenue information within the platform.
The setup includes:
- S3 Bucket → stores Marketplace reporting data
- KMS Key → encrypts the stored data
- SNS Topic → notifies Labra when new Marketplace data is available
AWS Marketplace data feeds are typically updated every 24 hours.
Select “No” if:
- You are setting up Marketplace onboarding for the first time
- You do not already manage Marketplace data feeds
- You do not already have an S3 bucket configured for Marketplace data feeds
- You are migrating from another Marketplace platform
This is the recommended option for most customers.
Fig. 5
Select “Yes” only if:
- You already manage your own AWS Marketplace data feeds infrastructure
- You already have:
- S3 Bucket ARN
- KMS Key ARN
- SNS Topic ARN
configured in AWS.
Fig. 6
📒 Note: If you are unsure which option to choose, we recommend selecting “No”.
➡️ Step 4 – Launch the CloudFormation Stack
Click Launch CloudFormation Stack.
This will redirect you to AWS CloudFormation.
⚠️ Important: You must have AWS Administrator permissions to create the stack.
Most fields will already be prefilled automatically, including:
- External ID
- Partner Organization Name
- Required Marketplace permissions
📒 Please note:
- Do not modify the External ID value
- The Partner Organization Name is automatically populated using the AWS Account Name entered in Step 01
➡️ Step 5 – Create the Stack in AWS
In the AWS CloudFormation page:
- Review the pre-filled values
- Update the Stack Name so it is unique
Example: labra-marketplace-role-companyname
Stack Name requirements:
- Lowercase only
- Use hyphens only
- No spaces
⚠️ Warning: Some AWS accounts may currently experience a character limit restriction during stack creation. If the stack creation fails, shorten the AWS Account Name value and retry.
- Acknowledge that AWS CloudFormation may create IAM resources with custom names
- Click Create Stack
- Wait for the stack status to change to:
CREATE_COMPLETE
This process may take a few minutes.
➡️ Step 6 – Copy the Required Output Values
Once the stack is successfully created:
- Open the Outputs tab in CloudFormation
- Copy the required values
- Paste them into the corresponding fields in Labra
Depending on your setup, required values may include:
- Platform Role ARN
- S3 Bucket ARN
- KMS Key ARN
- SNS Topic ARN
⚠️ Important: If you selected “Yes” in Step 3, you will need to complete both:
- Platform Role configuration
- Existing Data Feed configuration
Once the values are added successfully, Labra will validate the connections automatically.
➡️ Step 7 – Complete Customer Data Feeds Setup
If prompted, open the provided AWS Marketplace Management Portal (AMMP) link.
Under Setup customer data storage:
- Copy the following values:
- S3 Bucket ARN
- KMS Key ARN
- SNS Topic ARN
- Paste each value into the corresponding fields in Labra
⚠️ Important: The SNS Topic ARN field is required in Labra.
If the SNS Topic ARN is not visible in AWS Marketplace Management Portal:
- Open AWS CloudFormation
- Select the relevant stack
- Open the Outputs tab
- Copy the SNSTopicARN value
- Paste the value into:
- AWS Marketplace Customer Data Storage
- Labra Cloud Settings
Once all fields are completed, verify that all validations in Labra complete successfully.
➡️ Step 8 – Submit Cloud Settings
Once all validations are successful:
- Click Submit
- Wait for confirmation that Cloud Settings have been completed successfully
🎉 Your AWS Marketplace Cloud Settings setup is now complete! You are now ready to continue your AWS Marketplace onboarding journey with Labra.
