Prerequisites
Before configuring Referral Templates, ensure the following steps are completed:
- Complete the Salesforce Canvas App onboarding process.
- Confirm the Salesforce connection is successfully established in: Settings β Integrations β CRM

Access the Mapping Manager
- Log in to Labra Platform
- From the left navigation menu, go to: Settings

- Next, navigate to Sync Configuration β The navigation path will vary depending on whether you are configuring Referral (Co-sell) or Offer (Marketplace) templates.

Create a Referral (Co-sell) Template
The Mapping Manager allows you to:
- map Salesforce fields to AWS referral fields
- automate referral form population
- create multiple templates for different opportunity types and AWS programs
Examples include:
- Net New Business
- Expansion Opportunities
- Renewals
- WAFR referrals
- ISV Accelerate referrals
- To access the Co-sell templates, navigate to Co-Sell and click Set up Mapping Template

- Click: Create New Template

- Enter a unique template name and click: Create

Your new template will now be available for configuration.
Understanding the Co-sell Mapping Template
The referral template form is divided into four sections:
- Customer Details
- Referral Details
- AWS Details
- Contacts

Each section contains AWS referral fields that can be mapped to Salesforce fields.

Filter Required Fields
To simplify configuration, you can filter the form to display only required fields.
- Click the filter button located in the top-right corner and scroll to Field type. Select Required and Apply filters:

π Please note: Labra recommends mapping as many required fields as possible to minimize manual entry during referral creation.
If a field is not mapped:
- the field will appear blank during referral creation
- users must manually complete required fields before submitting the referral
Field Mapping Columns
Each row in the template contains the following columns:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Fields to map | The field shown on the AWS referral form |
| (Salesforce) Field Type | The required Salesforce field type (Text, Picklist, etc.) |
| Salesforce Fields | The Salesforce object and field mapped to the AWS field |
| Default Value | A static value automatically applied to the field |

π Please note: Users can configure either:
- a Salesforce field mapping
OR - a default value
A field cannot use both simultaneously.
Hidden and Read-Only Fields
The final columns in the template allow additional field controls:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Hidden | Hides the field from the Labra referral creation page |
| Read Only | Makes the field visible but non-editable during referral creation |

π Please note: If a field is marked as Hidden, the Read Only option will automatically be disabled.
Saving and Managing Co-sell Templates
Once all desired mappings are configured, click Save

All saved Co-Sell templates will appear under Settings β Sync Configuration β Co-sell.
From this page, users can:
- create new templates
- edit existing templates
- clone templates
- delete templates

π Please note: Templates can be updated at any time. Once saved, templates will appear when users select the Co-sell option from the Labra Control Center inside Salesforce.
Create an Offer (Marketplace) Template
The Marketplace Mapping Manager allows you to:
- map Salesforce fields to AWS Marketplace Offer fields
- automate Private Offer form population
- configure pricing dimensions and installment schedules
- define recipient sources for offer sharing
- create multiple templates for different Marketplace workflows
Examples include:
- Standard Private Offers
- Multi-year Agreements
- Installment-based Offers
- Reseller Authorizations
- To access the AWS Offer templates, navigate to Settings β Sync Configuration β Marketplace.

- Click Create New Template

- Enter a unique template name, select the template type, (Offer (Private Offer) or Reseller Authorization), enter a unique template name, and click Create:

Your new template will now be available for configuration.
Understanding the Marketplace Mapping Template
The template form is divided into five sections:
- Fields
- Dimensions
- Installments
- Metadata
- Recipient source

Fields Tab
The Fields tab uses the same mapping structure as Co-Sell Referral templates.

Field Mapping Columns
Each row in the template contains the following columns:

Additional Notes
- You can create custom Salesforce fields for mappings if needed, as long as the field type matches the required field type shown in the Mapping Manager.
- Templates can be updated at any time as your sales processes evolve.
- Multiple templates can be created to support different business workflows, opportunity types, AWS programs, or Marketplace motions, such as:
- Net New Business
- Renewals
- Expansion Opportunities
- ISV Accelerate
- WAFR referrals
- Standard Private Offers
- Installment-based Offers
- Reseller Authorizations
π Once your templates are configured, your users will be able to create AWS referrals and Marketplace offers directly from Salesforce using pre-populated forms, helping streamline and standardize your AWS co-sell and Marketplace processes.
