Auto Create Referral Based on Opportunity Field Criteria
This feature automatically creates an AWS referral when a Salesforce Opportunity matches specific criteria.
The automation uses an existing Referral Template where the trigger criteria is configured.
To configure the trigger criteria:
- Open the desired Referral Template in the Sync Configuration and Mapping Manager.
- Enable the: Automate referral creation toggle.
- Select the Salesforce Opportunity field value that should trigger automatic referral creation.
Example:
- Opportunity Stage = Perception Analysis
Fig. 5
⚠️ Warning: No two templates can use the same trigger criteria.
Once the configured criteria is met:
- A user updates an Opportunity in Salesforce.
- The Opportunity matches the configured trigger criteria.
- Labra automatically creates the AWS referral using the selected template configuration.
Auto Create Accounts and Opportunities from Incoming Referrals
This automation creates Salesforce records from incoming AWS referrals.
Fig. 6
How It Works
For every incoming AWS referral:
- an Account is created or matched
- an Opportunity is automatically created
- records are linked together inside Salesforce
Fig. 7
Field mappings can be configured using referral templates.
Fig. 8
📒 Please note: To help prevent duplicate records, Labra automatically matches incoming referrals to existing Salesforce Accounts using the company domain.
Auto Update Referral Records from Opportunity Changes
This automation syncs Salesforce Opportunity updates back to AWS referral records.
Supported updates include:
- Opportunity Stage
- Next Steps
- Target Close Date
Stage Mapping
Salesforce Opportunity stages can be mapped to AWS referral stages.
Fig. 9
When configuring stage mappings, templates must contain all required AWS fields for:
- Launched
- Committed
- Closed Lost
This helps prevent referral update failures.
