Salesforce's upcoming connected app restrictions
Salesforce is updating the way Connected Apps work to give administrators more control and improve security. Beginning 10 September 2025, Salesforce might block some users from using uninstalled Connected Apps.
That means applications using Salesforce Connected Apps might stop working unless you take action to install the connected app. For more details, please review Salesforce’s official announcement here: Salesforce Help Article.
Steps for Labra Connected App Installation
Navigate to Salesforce Setup, use the Quick Find to search for 'Connected Apps OAuth Usage'.
Select Connected Apps OAuth Usage.
Locate the Labra app listed as Labra. Click the Install button next to the app.
Note: Only System Administrators can install Connected Apps. If you don’t see the 'Install' option, please contact your Salesforce Administrator.
Deadline
It is recommended by Salesforce to complete the installation before September 10, 2025.
