Overview
The AWS Marketplace for the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC Marketplace) provides a secure, isolated environment specifically designed for the U.S. Intelligence Community. Much like the commercial AWS Marketplace, it allows government customers to discover, procure, and deploy third-party software—this time within the Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) region, which is fully disconnected from the public internet.
This specialized marketplace opens new doors for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Authorized Resellers to reach mission-driven customers in national security and defense. However, participating requires meeting several unique criteria beyond those for a standard AWS Marketplace listing.
Key Requirements for Listing in the IC Marketplace
To list your product in the IC Marketplace, vendors must:
- Have a commercially listed product on AWS Marketplace.
- Submit a Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) packet and agree to the IC-specific terms and conditions.
-
Ensure that the product functions in the C2S environment, which includes:
- No calls to the public internet.
- No reliance on external or third-party services not hosted within C2S.
How Labra Supports Your IC Marketplace Journey
While AWS handles the security-specific processes (e.g., FOCI and C2S validation), Labra plays a key role in preparing and aligning your listing for a successful submission to the IC Marketplace.
Our support includes:
✅ Marketplace Listing Enablement
Labra streamlines the process of creating or adapting your commercial AWS Marketplace listing, ensuring it meets all technical and policy guidelines required by AWS. This is a mandatory step before IC eligibility.
✅ Compliance Alignment
We help ensure your listing content, packaging, and delivery models align with AWS’s expectations for products destined for the IC Marketplace—reducing the chance of rework or delays.
✅ AWS Guidelines Adherence
Labra ensures your marketplace assets (AMIs, documentation, pricing, deployment instructions) are structured correctly and in accordance with AWS's requirements for IC submission readiness.
✅ Process Simplification
Although Labra does not directly manage FOCI submissions or validate C2S readiness, we ensure your listing and documentation are well-positioned for AWS to review and advance to the next stage efficiently.
Unlock New Opportunity in the Intelligence Community
The AWS IC Marketplace provides a rare opportunity to reach government customers operating in high-security environments. Labra helps ensure your product is prepared, packaged, and aligned with AWS processes, allowing you to focus on mission delivery and innovation.
