Marketplace Enhancements & Capabilities
Mapping Manager
Q1: What new marketplaces are supported in the Mapping Manager?
We’ve expanded Mapping Manager support to include:
-
Offer – GCP
-
Offer – Microsoft
✅ Note: Mapping Manager support for AWS already existed.
Q2: Is Mapping Manager now available for AWS Resale Authorizations?
Yes. We’ve added Mapping Manager support for Resale Authorization – AWS, helping users manage resale mappings more efficiently.
Product Search Enhancement
Q3: Can users search for products instead of selecting from dropdowns?
Yes. Users can now search for products while creating:
- Offers
- Resale Authorizations
This improves usability and speeds up product selection.
Offer Acceptance Status for Resale Authorizations
Q4: What’s new about status updates in resale authorizations?
Previously, resale status was marked Completed when an offer was created. Now, we’ve added better tracking to reflect Offer Acceptance by the reseller.
CPPO Start Date Enhancement
Q5: Can sellers control the start date in CPPO flows?
Yes. Sellers (ISVs) can now define a Maximum Allowed Start Date, preventing resellers from setting Future Dated Agreements (FDA) beyond that limit.
Offer Status Tracking in Salesforce
Q6: How are offer statuses tracked in Salesforce, and what do they mean?
Offer statuses in Salesforce now align directly with AWS Marketplace activity for both Private Offers and Resale Authorizations. Each status reflects a specific step in the offer lifecycle and is automatically updated based on real-time AWS data.
-
Draft – Offer created in Salesforce but not yet finalized or submitted to AWS.
-
Saved (optional) – Applies if your org has internal approval processes before submission.
-
Under Review / Approved (optional) – Internal workflow stages, not related to AWS.
-
Creation in Progress – Offer has been submitted and is being created in AWS Marketplace.
-
Viewed – The buyer has opened the offer in AWS.
-
Accepted – The buyer has accepted the offer in AWS. This is equivalent to "CPPO Accepted" in Resale flows.
-
Cancellation in Progress – Offer has been marked for cancellation and is awaiting AWS processing.
-
Canceled – Offer was successfully canceled in AWS.
These statuses provide visibility into offer progress and help ensure both sellers and resellers are aligned throughout the transaction process.
Co-Sell Enhancements
Q6: Is Mapping Manager available for Co-Sell?
Yes. Mapping Manager support is now extended to Microsoft Co-Sell, helping users efficiently manage and track co-sell mappings.
Q7: Can AWS Private Offers be linked to referrals?
Yes. Users can link AWS Private Offers to referrals during the referral launch. This is optional and gives more flexibility in the co-sell process.
Dashboard Enhancements
Q8: What is the new add-on matrix feature?
Users can now access an Add-on Matrix directly in the Salesforce dashboard for:
- Offers
- Referrals
Billing & Disbursement Data
Q9: Is billing and disbursement data now visible in Salesforce?
Yes. We’ve integrated all invoice and disbursement data into Salesforce.
Billing Data:
- View all invoice-related data
- Gain better visibility into revenue metrics
Disbursement Data:
- Track disbursement details separately
Available Metrics:
- Total Gross Revenue
- Total Net Revenue
- Total Disbursed Revenue
- Total Undisbursed Revenue
- Month-over-Month (MoM) Invoiced Revenue
- Month-over-Month (MoM) Disbursement Trends
Enhanced Reporting:
- Access detailed revenue and disbursement reports from the dashboard
Propensity to Buy (PTB)
Q10: What is Propensity to Buy (PTB)?
PTB is a machine learning-based scoring system that predicts which prospects are most likely to convert.
Q11: Why is PTB important?
It helps sales teams:
- Focus on high-potential leads
- Accelerate the sales cycle
- Improve revenue outcomes
PTB also highlights co-sell opportunities with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Microsoft.
