What are Solutions?
A solution is any product, service, or practice you offer to address a customer's business need. When you create a solution on AWS Partner Central, you provide details that help AWS understand your market offering. This enables AWS to offer tailored support to develop your solutions, enhance their discoverability, and facilitate engagement with AWS customers and sales teams.
Why Add Your Solutions to AWS Partner Central?
By integrating your solutions to the partner opportunity lifecycle, it will help produce the following benefits:
- Accelerate Sales Cycle: AWS Sellers will have clear insight into what youβre selling early in the sales cycle, helping to reduce ambiguity, facilitate collaboration with AWS, and expedite joint conversations with our customers.
- Educate AWS Sales Teams: Any solution that is included in an opportunity is exposed directly to AWS Sellers on opportunities within our internal CRM system. This provides a scalable mechanism to educate AWS sellers on your solutions, and no longer rely on traditional high-touch conversation-based education methods and continue to increase engagement.
- Enhance Discoverability: AWS automatically recommend your solutions to AWS Sellers with use cases your solution addresses. AWS have began to do this today but the solution provides a new level of granularity boosting your discoverability in these recommendations.
- Reduce Operational Burden: Today, on every opportunity you submit to AWS you have to manually enter proposed solution or solution details in order for it to be validated by AWS. In this future state, youβll instead be able to create your solution (s) and simply link them to the applicable opportunities without having to re-enter any data.
