This guide provides step-by-step instructions for modifying the IAM Role settings to align with the new Labra Instance.
When transitioning an IAM Role from one environment, such as Production, to another, like Labra Staging (Sandbox), updating permissions is crucial.
⚠️ The "External ID" needs to change to the new Labra Instance, please ask your Customer Success Agent for this ID.
On the AWS Console:
- Go to IAM
- In the IAM dashboard, choose 'Roles' from the sidebar menu.
- Find the IAM Role associated with the Production account
- Within the IAM Role settings, navigate to the 'Trust relationships' tab
- Click on 'Edit trust policy' to make changes to the trust relationship.
- Modify the 'External ID' field with the new one provided by your Customer Success Agent.
